To give you a rough outline: we will be travelling to Melbourne in Australia on 21st November and returning to the UK in early February 2023.
We are travelling with our friend Jenny Middleton who is visiting her daughter - Caroline and family - in Melbourne, but doesn't want to travel on her own - so we are all going together.
Our journey takes us from Birmingham to Paris (overnight), then on the Singapore and then Melbourne. Same way back in February.
We start off with a 3 day stay with Caroline & John in Melbourne before picking up our hire camper van and then take 3 weeks to drive up the Eastern side of the country ending up in Cairns in mid December.
From there - we head for the family farm in Mutchilba (see if you can find it on the map) to spend Christmas and New Year with them all. We will be leaving Far North Queensland in late January and heading back to Melbourne to meet up with our travelling companion (Jenny Middleton), as well as a distant relative and some friends from the USA who will by chance also be in the city at the same time.
During the period we will try and upload as many photos, videos and comments about what we have done and what we have seen and hope that you will find it entertaining.
